Installing

  • Install the Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable (see above)
  • Install Denora with the installer (download below)
  • Read the QUICKSTART.txt file
  • Refer to README and docs/ for further documentation

Upgrading from Denora 1.4.x

  • If you use SQL:
    • Import the sql/denora.sql file into your database
    • Import the sql/your-ircd.sql file and ignore any errors

Upgrading from Denora 1.0/1.1/1.2

  • Create a new config file from scratch using example.conf
  • If you use SQL:
    • Import the sql/denora.sql file into your database
    • Look at the sql/your-ircd.sql file and manually adjust your database to make it correspond

Known issues

(last updated 21.09.09)
  • Denora does compile on Windows 64 bit natively, but does not work. This might be fixed in a future release.
  • Denora might crash during startup with P10-based ircds. If this is the case, please get the SVN version, or roll back to Denora 1.4.3 and wait for the next release.
